Location and Transfers
The island of Nevis is reached via air charter from either Antigua, St. Martin or St. Kitts. From Nevis airport, Montpelier Plantation Inn is a 25 minute drive.
Premier Rooms – semi-detached cottages house the spacious premier rooms which are dotted along the edge of the hillside, with views across the valley to the ocean in the distance. Each room has tiled floors with white-washed walls, mahogany writing desk and cedar lined wardrobes, louvred windows and a door leading onto a private terrace. The spacious bathrooms have full size bath with overhead shower
Plantation Rooms – these elegant rooms, all with King size beds, offer a little more luxury for guests. The amenities are the same as the premier category, but there are new tiles and wooden floors, restyled décor throughout and a chic modern look to the bathrooms including vessel sinks, seductive lighting, solid oak tops and temperature controlled showers with rain-shower heads
The Garden Suite – a fabulous spacious split-level suite consisting of an open bedroom and sitting room which blends contemporary styling with old plantation charm. With bamboo flooring, a large walk-in rainfall shower, four-poster King size bed and wide jalousie windows that allow the air to flow through the room providing a natural cooling breeze. Modern conveniences have not been spared in spite of the suite being ‘green’ – a Nespresso coffee machine, wet bar, air-conditioning, iPod docking station and wifi access is available. There is also a private outdoor Gazebo offering a garden sanctuary with fabulous views of the hills and the sea. Note: an adjacent Plantation room can be combined with The Garden Suite to create a 2-bedroom Suite
The Little House – this is an old Nevisian style house dating back to the late 1700’s. The House is a one minute walk from the hotel’s main great room as this villa is situated on its own two acres of land giving breathtaking views of both the Caribbean sea and Nevis peak. The Little House has been restored keeping its old charm but adding modern touches. All the bedrooms and the living room have air-conditioning. The master bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom had two single beds. The Little house has a full kitchen that can be stocked by the hotel upon request. There’s also a 30″ flat screen TV, DVD player, stereo and internet access. The bedrooms are detached from the sitting room and offer added privacy with a shared bathroom
Tamarind Villa – stylish separate 2-bedroom cottage decorated in chic Plantation style, with views over the lawn and out to sea on one side and Nevis Peak with Nelson’s Lookout on the other side. Spacious living room opening onto two covered porches and the open sun deck and an inviting 9 x 7 foot plunge pool. Full entertainment centre with Internet, TV, DVD, CD and MP3 station, wet bar, Nespresso coffee machine and separate kettle for “Revolution” tea. Two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and semi outdoor showers with views of Nevis Peak and bathtub. Air-conditioned bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout
Restaurant 750 – in the evening, life shifts to the stylish ambience of the Nevis Restaurant 750. Drinks and canapés are served in relaxing comfort, before dining on the terrace with captivating views of Charlestown Nevis and nearby St. Kitts. The light, modern cuisine of Montpelier has been perfected through the use of local ingredients, herbs and spices. The varied menu offers a choice of vegetarian and other dietary options. The sommelier takes great pride in wine pairing and is always in search of unique and rare wines and for new ideas to marry food and wine together. After dinner, enjoy a coffee or sample our aged rum collection in the Great Room or sit under the stars
Mill Privee – for a memorable experience, enjoy an intimate candlelit dinner in this 300 year-old sugar mill. The original mill is completely intact and the well-trodden floor and hand-cut round stonewall is wonderfully atmospheric. This unique restaurant offers a gourmet five course tasting menu created by the Executive Chef
Indigo – embodies easygoing island dining. Casual lunches and dinners are just as remarkable in character as Restaurant 750, only more relaxed. During the day, choose from a selection of delicious salads, sandwiches, fresh fruits and refreshing drinks. From 5pm, Indigo shifts and sharing platters, molecular cocktails, fine wine and champagne sets the tone of the lounge bar. Enjoy aperitifs, post dinner desserts, a late night tipple or a gourmet experience, echoing the cuisine of Restaurant 750

Private beach – a 15 minute drive from the hotel, the complimentary shuttle leaves the hotel daily at approximately 10.30 am and guests arrange their preferred return time.
