Ambassador Suites – these new suites have a courtyard view and offer the highest level of comfort and style. Each suite has been individually designed by Olga Polizzi to make guests feel that they have arrived at their home from home. There is a wonderful sense of space and light that comes not only from the 60 m2 of total floor area but also from the use of pale woods for the parquet flooring, and pastel shades for the linen fabrics. Presidential Suite – the elegant Presidential suite at Hotel Astoria measures 108 sq m/ 1162 sq ft and incorporates one or two double bedrooms. The suite has been individually decorated and features paintings, sculptures, ceramics, furniture, chandeliers and lighting from the Astoria’s original collection. These magnificent two-bedroom suites are located on the main corner of the building and therefore look out to the Statue of Nicholas and the Mariinsky Palace, or the St Isaac’s Square and Cathedral. On entering the suite the spacious entrance hall offers a wardrobe for coats, full-size antique dressing mirror, antique table for placing shopping or notes and the entrance to a guest washroom and toilet.
